North Walsham-based manufacturer, Chell Instruments, were proud to win the ‘Excellence in Manufacturing’ award for their innovations in producing gas measurement and control solutions.
The Inspiring North Norfolk event brought business leaders together to recognise their achievements and contributions to the local area.

Through their hard work and dedication, we ensure our scanners deliver the highest levels of measurement integrity worldwide – a true reflection of manufacturing excellence” says Jamie Shanahan, Director of Chell Instruments.
Hosted by Invest North Norfolk, a North Norfolk District Council-run organisation, the event celebrated entrepreneurs, rising talent and manufacturers.
In today’s economic landscape, strong regional manufacturers play a vital role in sustaining skilled employment, driving exports and upholding the global reputation associated with UK-made products.
Local awards like Inspiring North Norfolk are especially important in highlighting the ongoing impact that UK manufacturers, like Chell, continue to make both locally and nationally.
