The BCMPA – the Association for Contract Manufacturing, Packing, Fulfilment & Logistics will show how outsourcing and the support services of its members are increasingly meeting the specialist production needs of the chemical industry at this year’s CHEMUK show held at the NEC on 11th – 12th May.
CHEMUK is the only trade show in the UK dedicated to bringing all parts of the chemical product development, specification, processing and manufacturing communities together. The exhibition will include 350+ specialist exhibitors and 150+ expert speakers.
As headline sponsors, visitors to stand M35 in Hall 1 will be able to find out more about how the BCMPA and its members are increasingly helping supply chains to be shorter and more efficient – covering everything from issues arising from Brexit to support with labelling and legislation and more.
Also exhibiting at CHEMUK are five BCMPA members including Airedale Chemical, Cod Beck Blenders, Libra Speciality Chemicals, Maker Industrial and Project 7, providing visitors with an excellent opportunity to seek face-to-face advice.
As part of the show, the ‘ContractCHEM’ feature session will see the BCMPA’s CEO, Rodney Steel and Adrian Wiggett of Libra Speciality Chemicals explore ‘TheValue of Outsourcing Chemical Projects to a Contract Manufacturer’. Thepresentation willbeheld on Thursday 12th May at 12.20 on Stage 1 and will explain how outsourcing benefits customers, brand owners and retailers looking to deliver their chemical projects, and how greater flexibility is helping overcome serious logistical issues.
The session will also cover the practical benefits of contract & toll manufacturing in the chemical products sector – embracing materials handling, blending, filling, packing, storage and distribution.
“CHEMUK has developed into a major show for the chemical industry and, as a founder supporter, we are delighted to be exhibiting again,” said Steel.
“The requirement to work with 3rd party outsourcing suppliers has never been so important, as customers look to their contract manufacturing partners to provide solutions to supply chain challenges. This collaborative approach exemplifies the importance of working with good suppliers and the BCMPA is happy to help visitors to CHEMUK find the right solutions”.
