ESI Technology is getting ready to introduce the new Portable Pressure Testing System (PPTS), bringing high-performance pressure measurement and powerful data analysis together in one compact, ready-to-use solution.
Designed for engineers who need accurate, flexible pressure measurement, the PPTS combines ESI’s GD4200-USB digital pressure transmitters, an integrated touchscreen computer and pre-installed ESI-USB software in a rugged, portable carry case.
High Performance. Built-In Flexibility.
With measurement ranges from vacuum up to 5,000 bars, the PPTS uses advanced Silicon-on-Sapphire (SOS) sensing technology to deliver excellent long-term stability and performance across a wide temperature range.
Two GD4200-USB pressure transmitters come pre-installed as standard, with pressure ranges and connections selected to suit your requirements. Need to monitor more than two pressure points? The system supports up to 16 pressure inputs, making it suitable for everything from individual pressure tests to more complex, multi-channel analysis.
A Chart Recorder, Built Right In
One of the PPTS’s standout features is its integrated circular chart recorder display, available through the ESI-USB software.
Unlike standard ESI pressure transmitter setups, the PPTS offers this additional way to view pressure measurements directly on its integrated touchscreen. Engineers can select the circular chart display to visualise pressure readings during testing, giving them another useful option for monitoring measurement behaviour.
It’s a specialist feature that adds further flexibility to an already versatile testing system.
Testing Made Simpler
The integrated Windows-based computer comes with ESI-USB software pre-installed, so there is no need for a separate PC to get started.
Users can view, record and analyse pressure data in real time, with additional software features including leak testing, virtual differential pressure measurement, configurable alarm levels and automatic test start and stop times.
With selectable sample rates of up to 1,000 Hz, the system can also capture dynamic pressure changes, supporting a wide range of testing and measurement requirements.
Ready to Go Wherever You Need It
Housed in a durable carry case, the PPTS weighs approximately 10.2 kg and is designed with portability in mind. Its internal rechargeable battery provides up to three hours of operation with 16 sensors connected, or up to eight hours when idle. Mains power is also available when required.
Typical applications include pressure and leak testing, laboratory and process monitoring, calibration, validation and multi-channel pressure analysis.
