norelem is expanding its range of clamping elements by adding toggle clamps with safety latch and additional versions of pull-action clamps and quick-release clamps for industrial applications. The goal behind this expansion is to offer the user an even wider selection for use cases that require quick and safe clamping with perfect repeatability – even in tight installation spaces and under challenging loads.
The new toggle, pull-action, and quick-release clamps deliver increased safety and process reliability in production and installation. An integrated latch reduces the risk of accidental release, while dependable tension forces minimize downtime and rework. At the same time, it allows for clamping without tools, cutting down set-up and cycle times. Variants designed for tight installation spaces, options for mounting positions, and versions made of steel and stainless steel provide additional versatility for the most varied areas of application.
Toggle clamps: quick closure, secure hold
Toggle clamps are proven mounting and holding devices used for quickly closing and attaching lids, flaps and covers. norelem is introducing their latest clamps in three new product families and a total of 15 new products. Available in versions made of steel and stainless steel, they cover a range of tensile forces from 1,630 N to 34,000 N.
New: Standard toggle clamps with safety latch
The standard toggle clamps made by norelem are now also available with a safety latch:
During closing, a safety hook securely engages in the base body. This ensures that there is no accidental opening of the tensioner, even if subjected to vibrations or impact. To open the clamp, the safety hook can be released effortlessly with one hand.
Also new: Toggle clamps in a heavy-duty version
For applications involving particularly heavy loads, norelem offers heavy-duty toggle clamps that deliver a tensile force of up to 34,000 N. This version is geared towards applications that call for robust clamping technology, such as heavy gate valves, fixtures or welding and manufacturing environments.
New pull-action clamps with lateral mounting when space is limited
For applications involving limited installation space, norelem offers pull-action toggles with lateral mounting:
- Material: Steel and stainless steel
- Retention force: up to 3,400 N
The pull-action clamp is ideally suited for cases where mounting from the front is not an option but is required to the side of the support plate, e.g. on narrow profiles and compact fixtures or in tight machine enclosures.
New quick-release clamps: fast, versatile, and offering perfect repeatability
Quick-release clamps are used wherever workpieces and assemblies need to be changed frequently and a repeatable clamping position is paramount. norelem complements their line-up with two new horizontal versions:
Quick-release clamp, horizontal with angled foot
- Material: Steel
- Retention force: 1,670 N
- Clamping force: 1,020 N
- Special feature: Angled foot for horizontal and vertical installation
Quick-release clamp, horizontal with full retaining arm
- Material: Steel
- Retention force: 4,500 N
- Clamping force: 2,760 N
- Special feature: Full retaining arm for modifications and custom adjustments
