Schneider Electric, the leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, has welcomed adi Group’s Lean Manufacturing & Design division as a Registered Alliance Partner system integrator (SI). The company’s new partner status highlights its expertise in motion control and robotic automation and the advanced services and products it provides to customers.
Sam Curson, Business Development Manager at adi Lean Manufacturing & Design said, “Achieving Alliance Partner status with Schneider Electric reflects the dedication of our engineers to meeting the requirements of each individual customer by providing automated systems that reduce production costs, increase capabilities, and provide high quality products.”
Founded in 2011, adi Lean Manufacturing & Design supports customers across the UK’s manufacturing sector. adi takes a multi-disciplinary approach to engineering, providing the unique end-to-end service of taking a brief from an end user and going on to provide and build the entire production line in house. The partnership recognises the firms extensive programming and design experience with Schneider Electric robots, cobots, drives and PLC systems.
Samira El Kassimi, Robotic & Automation Business Development Manager at Schneider Electric commented, “Our Alliance SI Partner Programme is designed to empower SIs to deliver smarter, more sustainable industrial automation solutions through access to Schneider Electric’s latest technologies, training, and expertise. I am pleased to welcome adi Lean Manufacturing and Design to the network.”
The adi Group is committed to shaping the future of engineering by championing the value and impact of vocational opportunities for young people. As a Platinum member of The 5% Club, which encourages employers to have at least 5% of their workforce earning and learning, the group goes beyond this benchmark, with 11% of its employees currently completing apprenticeships.
This year, the adi Group welcomed its largest intake to date, with 17 new apprentices joining. Currently the group has more than 60 apprentices on the scheme. This mirrors Schneider Electric’s apprenticeship scheme, which onboarded more than 50 applicants across the UK and Ireland this year, as a route to addressing the skills gap in the engineering and green energy sectors.
Having joined the Alliance Partner Programme, adi Group’s Lean Manufacturing & Design division is now listed on Schneider Electric’s online partner locator as Registered System Integrator. The locator is an online tool that helps end users around the world find a certified supplier to help with product knowledge and installation services.
