Pioneer Pump Opens New Pump School at Expanded Hadleigh Facility

Specialist industrial pump manufacturer, Pioneer Pump, has officially opened its new Pump School, providing hands-on training for customers and staff after recently moving to new Hadleigh site.

Following a major relocation and investment, which saw the company move from a 10,000 sq ft site near Stowmarket to a significantly larger 66,000 sq ft facility, the new training space is a key part of Pioneer’s commitment to education, innovation, and customer support.

The Pump School has been designed to give customers a deeper understanding of their pumps, featuring cutaway wet prime and dry prime models as well as a fully operational pump for live demonstrations. Customers can see exactly how their equipment works, learn best practices for maintenance and efficiency, and then step into the workshop to watch pumps being built in real time.

The facility also offers a theatre-style seating area for academic learning, alongside dedicated space for practical, hands-on training, ensuring the best possible experience for customers and staff alike.

“Our goal is not just to supply pumps but to be a true partner to our customers,” said Hugh Langley, MD at Pioneer Pump. “With our Pump School, we’re giving customers and our own teams the tools and knowledge they need to maximise performance and efficiency – and innovation! Seeing a how a pump works, in a practical way of learning gives a whole new level of understanding.”

The new Hadleigh site, which boosts Pioneer’s operational capacity by 560%, has already transformed the company’s efficiency. The refurbished brownfield facility is designed with sustainability in mind, featuring LED motion-activated lighting and infrared heating, with future plans for solar panels.

Pioneer Pump is now welcoming visitors to tour the new Pump School and wider facility.
