Sharp installed Kelio’s X4 and X7 terminals at its manufacturing site in Wrexham. All 150 on-site staff use the clocking-in fobs with Kelio’s combined Time and Attendance, and HR systems. Having previously installed separate systems for both, Sharp was delighted with a solution to combine them.
Choosing software options with the HR Portal, absence management, staff administration, annual leave request, and time and attendance supported independence for the large team. It also reduced admin for HR management.
User-friendly, reliable and accurate functionality
Impressed with Kelio’s functionalities, Sharp said: “A huge benefit is that the old systems didn’t reliably communicate with each other and there were time delays. Kelio’s system works in real time, which is great for allowing staff to book their own absence. Previously, we used paper forms, causing a lot of work. The clocking terminals are reliable and accurate for extracting data.”
Having previously only worked off-line, the staff quickly adapted. Kelio’s training process allowed Sharp time to configure the system exactly as it needed it, following its rules.
