“Manufacturing connects more than components.”
Made in Britain is standing up for excellence in British manufacturing this Autumn at some of the UK’s most influential industry, political, and trade events.
From party conferences to rail and engineering exhibitions, the not-for-profit organisation will use each stage to amplify the voices and impact of its 2,200+ members – and show just how far the Made in Britain mark can take a UK business.
With product examples ranging from prize seed potatoes to toilet cisterns, traffic bollards to manhole covers, and cooling caps to wheelie bins, Made in Britain’s mission is clear: to promote British-made products while driving sustainable growth for UK manufacturing and the broader economy.
John Pearce, CEO of Made in Britain, said:
“There’s never been a more important time to fly the flag for British-made. British manufacturers are proving every day, one export at a time, that manufacturing connects more than components.
“British manufacturers aren’t just surviving – they’re thriving, innovating, and playing a vital role in fortifying our economy, our communities, and our future. From interior design to into orbit – we’re making sure British manufacturers are seen, recognised, and valued for the great products they make and the impact they have on society.
“As the trademark for British manufacturing excellence, we’re on a mission to champion UK manufacturing.”

Made in Britain’s autumn tour begins at DSEI UK (9th–12th September, ExCeL London), one of the world’s leading defence and security events, to highlight the role of British innovation and manufacturing in keeping the UK competitive in global markets.
The organisation will then be attending the UK Metals Expo (10th–11th September), to celebrate Britain’s world-leading metals industry and showcase the supply chain’s strength, innovation, and global reach.
Following this, it will visit the Liberal Democrat Conference (20th–23rd September). While Made in Britain is staunchly apolitical, it will attend to showcase the job-creating power of UK manufacturing, alongside the importance of traceable origins and trusted quality.
For Make UK National Manufacturing Day (25th September), it will inspire the next generation and spotlight how manufacturing shapes everyday life through innovation, resilience, and creativity.
At the Rail Forum (25th September), the focus will be on keeping British manufacturing “on track” with circular economy solutions, domestic innovation, and practical transport sector results.
The Labour Party Conference (27th September – 1st October) will amplify the case for local production, job creation, and verified provenance in British goods.
At the Conservative Party Conference (5th – 8th October), Made in Britain will reinforce the message that buying British supports jobs, strengthens the economy, and guarantees quality.
The Sustainable Trade & Production Expo (7th – 8th October, ExCeL London) will offer a platform to champion low-carbon, circular and ethical British manufacturing solutions to an international audience.
The Advanced Engineering Show (29th – 30th October) will position British manufacturers as globally recognised leaders, connecting them with international buyers and opportunities for accelerated growth.

Finally, the Made in Britain Impact Awards (5th November) will honour manufacturing excellence, celebrating the innovation, resilience, and growth driving the sector forward.
From globally recognised firms like Polypipe, Vauxhall, Forterra and Tigerplay, to niche innovators like Lockabox, British Drum Co., and Forbes & Lomax, Made in Britain members represent the diversity and dynamism of UK manufacturing.
Showcased products will range from invisible light switches and picnic benches to neon signage, NHS hairnets, and the iconic Thomas Crapper toilet system – all certified to carry the Made in Britain mark.
With political, industrial and consumer interest in provenance and sustainability at an all-time high, Made in Britain is using its autumn tour to make one thing clear: when it’s made in Britain, it matters.
